Hi friends..............this caption may sound as if I was going to school after my holidays , but it could not happen again ...........yesterday I went to the school where we did our higher secondary academics . Just to see all my favorite teachers , a boon to meet them all .
Stepping into the greenish heaven (no exaggeration!!! ,beware :the trees and flowers will lead you straight in to the head mistress ' room)...
My physics madam whose words could be heard for hours ,I talked with her more and more....
The gem of the character , my tamil teacher (who is a blind person) ,I doubted whether he would remember me......................what a surprise!!!!!!!! when I wished him ,he called my name....................wow that moment is enough for my extreme joy!!!!!!!!!
Chemistry madam gave a warm hug , as usual I was afraid about my maths madam .............but thinking that I am not in her custody now ,brought a courage to talk with her..................oh relaxed !!!!!!!!!!!!! others were busy with the classes......got blessings from my head mistress!!!
A day in heaven .............on countdown ,left the place without heart!!!!!!!!!

The crucial hour in every one's daily life is this ,the time when the traffic gets to congest .
Oh , we hear the siren of an ambulance ,like a "scary scream of the dying" ,no way to leave the place.........what we could do is just to pray for those !!!
The roads of the city remain the same single lane (six lanes in some IT corridors ), but the number of vehicles ,that however increases geometrically .
Accidents ,the normal experience in the roads of the city!!! some persons even race on the roads knowing all these consequences!!!
Parking ,another big burden ..............that will be brought to control by the installation of the parking meters................to regulate the parking!!!

In our school days we had a great fun , with all the pupils around us and more to say , remembering our cool cool playing!!!!
When the play time bell rings ,I hastily await for it and it is of enjoying as any thing!!! It will continue amidst the class hours , wandering , jumping over the desks .Mostly , the play game will end as a smart fight within groups . These are later made into a disciplined way ,by grouping us into "Houses" that comprises members of different classes together!!! I dreamed of this being enforced to our international sports and games (as I found many "quarrel some" people and "Match fixers")...................and it has become true with the twenty -twenty cricket matches.............surely this is a successful approach and it is rocking now!!!!
hmmm...........finally( The moral of the story):UNITY IN DIVERSITY!!!!

Most of the people , irrespective of their age ,courage do afraid of that small insect , yes the COCKROACH . Know about its various weird features............

A cockroach can live for more than 3 weeks without its head.

They do not die, even if you crush them, thrice!

In the fine morning taking the news paper , I went up glancing for any pleasant article ,but caught sight of a dead child in its mothers lap...........terribly shocked was I to read that, its health became serious after being vaccinated !!! Later only I knew that four such babies died of this case .
Incident -II:
A man of age 28 ,Purushothaman of east chennai , has been hospitalized a few weeks before in a private hospital ,medical treatments were given and the family was informed that he died and his corpse was put in the mortuary . His parents rushed in , the freezer in the mortuary has been opened .......the man's limbs moved ,his eyes too opened .He was hurried to the ICU and now he is hale and healthy. The whole family became angry on the doctors for their fault , but they had not claimed for a case and forgiven them .
How many such unnoticed lives would have died yet???
Incident -III:
Two new born babies were reported to have given to the others parents.............they rendered for a DNA test and later got their original child back................
Many and more of such reports , are about the faults of hospitals ,and their doctors ..................will this come to a better ending...???

"Seniors."......... this word may give a feel of threat , ragging experiences or a sense of role models and icons to many of the people , but to me it reminds of the care and friendship they provided me.
In this semester we had our cultural activities ,and so I was working(mostly chatting and playing) with my seniors 3rd and 4th years . I learned a lot from them ,how to organize ,the sporty way they manage every thing ,admired them a lot ,etc.... a tie of friendship rolled around us . Within some weeks ,we came so closer , even I am a junior they kindly considered my opinions too ,it was amazing .
Even the cultural event is over , I longed to be with them ,whenever I got time, hurried to their class and chatted with them ,my SUPER SENIORS.........even their presence is a gift to me. The seven brothers and hand full of sisters , I am really proud to be with them .
Oh !! they are in the apex of their college life , autographs and slam books made their part as usual ,filled with words and tears .To fare well them ,is tougher to me ,I could not tackle the tears rolling down . Missing them ..................

Hi friends............it has been a long time I wrote a post here...........I am now in my study(???) holidays . Last week the practicals got over . What a hell to make the outputs and calculations come our way .Yes now that great deal is over . The external examiner (cannot forget him in all my life!!!) who lectured me the whole syllabus and asked questions for half an hour .
But one of my friends did a great mischief and fortunately got the full mark for viva .He had not finished his record and lost some marks due to it, he finished the experiment . Getting into the external viva session we all were in a shivering condition..........he too had the same symptoms , but he was smiling and chatted with that man........oh god ,then only we came to know that the external examiner was his "kind neighbor" what else he need ..............surely flied with colors!!!!

March is the the month of blossoming creativity and cool sports to get displayed.....yes!!! I am saying about the culturals day that is yet to come .Last week I had no time to blog ,as being one among the playing groups(though in the cheering audience in some sort......!!). We the people of IT department won in the basket ball ,runners in throw ball ,volley ball ,lost in table tennis(will surely win in the next time). I am getting many ODs (on duty) every day with some reason.......this is what I longed for!!! A relishing moment with full time fun is my upcoming culturals that falls on march 26.....I like this month very much as my birth day comes in this mind boggling march.......though my father do not want this month to come ,due to many economical reasons you know!!!!

A most memorable moment in my life ,has happened just two days before......when we the cool college group went for an industrial visit to ISRO (SHAR) at Sriharikotta in Andhra pradesh.We planned the visit on wednesday,started from Chennai at early morning 5.30 AM.With our two professors in our bus(forgot their presence as usual!!!) ,enjoyed a lot throughout our journey . Reaching our destination ,we ought to submit our cameras and gadgets in the counter(so sad!!).
The launch pad ,mission control centre and the tracking systems were quite interesting and energetic.The missions of PSLV and GSLV were shown to us.(Just the video-It looked as a thriller film).Adding a spicy and cool memory was the beach found at the back of that station.........you cant even find a peck of dust in it!!! About an hour,we played there (our staff threatened as of the 5 deaths in that sea.......who will heed that all??).Lots to describe, but the time was less ,so we departed from there heartless.
Again the rocking dance and music of our girls made the trip surely hot!!!A day of joy......why cant we go for such trips weekly once....I will take this point to be noted by the educational department!!!!

when reporters visited him in hospital, he wrote on a piece of paper that, "I am a true disciple of the goddess and it is my firm belief which has given me the strength to offer my tongue to her".

I got -- % over all and etc etc "........at last they will say like "my mother waken me up from bed.......oh! these are all a dream " or as "Dont get tensed I was telling about my attendance percentage"......many pranksters are there in my class .We have been chatting like this ,kidding as usual .At last the results came ,but we thought it was too a fake news . In my pongal holidays , I went to my native village Neelapadi (near Nagappatinam ) with my family . We arranged for a van to get a comfort ride with our uncle's family.
The trip was so enjoyable as we (me, my brother) had a great time with our cousins. We reached our land after long hours .To see our grand parents is a soothing moment for me .
Our youngsters groups , so enthusiastic in each and every part roamed over a lot ,enjoyed singing ,dancing to the beats , playing dumb charades . Our parents are not a little less than we did. They got into ours and played too.

Piotr Staniaszek, a 22-year-old oil and gas well tester in rural northwest Alberta, became a figure of international media attention this week when his father went to the press to complain about the size of his son's bill.

Staniaszek's father, also named Piotr Staniaszek, said his son thought he could use his new phone as a modem for his computer as part of his C$10 unlimited browser plan from Bell Mobility, a division of Bell Canada.

He downloaded movies and other high-resolution files un aware of the charges they would incur.

"He's working in the field sometimes, alone, in the shack. What to do? Drink vodka or go on the Internet?" Staniaszek senior told Reuters on Thursday from Calgary, Alberta.

"Now it's $85,000 and nobody told him," he said.

According to his invoice, the son rang up C$60,000 in charges in November, and they have since climbed to C$85,000.

Staniaszek senior said Bell has agreed to reduce the charges to C$3,400 for "goodwill".

"It's still high...Who can afford it?" he said, adding his son can barely make payments on a new truck he bought for work, and will continue to fight the charges.

A Bell spokesman said the plan is not intended for downloading files to a computer, and that's clear in his contract. Very weird right ?

"I put the reddish-brown snake in a dark bucket," Mark Auleya, a German reptile expert. "When I retrieved it a few minutes later, it is entirely white."
Auleya found the 0.5-meter-long snake in wetlands and swamps near the River in Kerihun National Park. The scientists believe ,it survives only in the wet areas.
"Its ability to change color has kept it hidden from science until now. I guess it just picked the wrong color that day",said the scientist.
A handful of other reptiles are known to be able to rapidly change their pigmentation chameleon color change, and the trait is a defense mechanism in some snakes. The researchers don't know how or why the new snake species makes the change, but they speculate it could be a warning behavior.

This suggests that this mare-type volcanism must have occurred, just after the first stage of lunar crust formation.
Mare volcanism must have overlapped with a later stage of volcanism, evidence of which was found in rocks picked up by the Apollo missions.

Most of us do the very same thing .......
Remembering that the next day is the exam,with lots of fear ,bags of syllabus ,with a burden of mind on how to set away the time limit for each unit................fear comes the way.I once read some golden words that,"What is fear???--Fear is the quality which comes on your way,when there is only few hours remaining for the exam .............still the pages of your book smell new",it has been specifically written for us i think,,,,,,,but on reading this i truly got scared ,as i read the message sent by my friend just 2 hours before the exam.
i do not know whether it is a mistake or a chance to show our ability!!! I know well that you would have done the same process of preparation during exams.........but however you the "book worms",will not have any experience with it!!! But i make it always(me wishing to change the practice as the tension leaves me in bad health......i even torture my mom!!!)
What to do ,it is not that we cannot study like others ,we are tuned like that.........wanna change it!!!! all the best..........as i will not do that now after as .....my exams are over now!!!!
Again this 11th hour will be after 6-months only(for next semester)!!!!

Our teachers feel that class tests can make us more strong in the subject , but the reality is not so . Even when internal assessment is going on , most of the students(us!!!) will not consider it as important .
Once we wrote a test on data structures ,( without even knowing the topics) .We wrote it by grasping some points , which we have hardly listened amidst our plays in the class room.Those 45-minutes were crucial ,since my prof. made a look on every others paper!!!
Oh! it was the day to give the answer sheets corrected(who asked for that-just the teachers waste their time and ink it seems) ,our benchers got the same mark -boundary marks only(40)!!! .But the girl sitting at the back got double the marks(80)!!! she was in cloud nine!!! what? we really got surprised but scolded her too(as she did not write anything more than us!!) . At that time ,my another friend have not yet received her paper ,we searched for it everywhere ,,,,,,,,at last we found it inside the sheets of the 80 -mark girl...........yes,,my prof has corrected both the sheets as one( how he not even differentiate the hand writing???--fool,fooly)!!
Now the 80 -mark ,oh pity girl!!!!

I wanna share with you the moments in my college class room. The cool atmosphere (yes i am sitting right below the fan!!!!) , my friends sitting around , eating ,chatting ,playing in the last two rows of the class room ,doing our own works ,while the professors are busy in theirs(just staring at the board ,it seems!!!).Passing papers to play ,we make the total gang come with us ,leaving the bookworms!!
But me ,when caught red-handed ,by my data structures sir ,will not open my mouth ,until my friend tells the question murmering and the answer he asked.....(as i do not know even the question)
Now it is the exam season ,i miss them all ,though we are in the same hall ,blinking as same with the question paper ,can not communicate (if we dare to do....what will happen???) just a thought!!!

When i was young ,i longed a lot to cook ,but alas! the cooking stove was in a greater height than me..Few years back i scarcely went into the kitchen to cook,unless i helped my mother!!
After seeing the movie "ratoutuille"i was much impressed that i prepared pani puri,bhel puri,and dahi puri in the same day itself.

FASTING CUTS RISK OF HEART ATTACK-STUDY

Foodbuffs, it may appear to be a bit difficult option but fasting once a month pays -- it can help stave off a heart attack.

International researchers have carried out a study and found that skipping meals for one day a month could reduce the risk of coronary artery disease by nearly 40 per cent, the Daily Mail reported on Wednesday.

According to the team, the break from food helps in "re-setting" the body's metabolism which enables it to work more efficiently as a result.

"People who fast seem to receive a heart-protective benefit and this appeared to also hold true in non-LDS (Latter Day Saints) people who fast as part of a health-conscious lifestyle," lead researcher Prof Benjamin Horne said.

Prof Horne of the University of Utah and his fellow researchers came to the conclusion after analysing a study of Mormons, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints which requires followers to fast once a month.

In fact, the team examined the records of patients who had a coronary angiography -- an X-ray of the blood vessels of the heart to look for blockages -- between 1994 and 2002.

Of 4,629 men and women whose arteries were examined, Mormons were found to be less likely to have coronary artery disease, defined as 70 per cent narrowing or blocking of at least one artery.

"Fasting was the strongest predictor of lower heart disease risk in the people we surveyed. About eight per cent of those who fasted did not express a religious preference and they also had less coronary disease," Prof Horne said.

However, the researchers have warned that it might be dangerous for those with diabetes to start fasting without medical supervision. "This study does not provide evidence that diabetics should skip meals," he said.

Researchers in the United States have found that a combination of coffee drinking and regular exercise is good for health as it may help to prevent skin cancer caused by the Sun's ultraviolet rays.

"The caffeine and exercise seemingly conspire to kill off precancerous cells whose DNA has been damaged by UV-B rays," lead researcher Allan Conney wrote in the 'Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences' journal.

In fact, the researchers at the Rutgers University in New Jersey came to the conclusion after examining the effects of ultraviolet light on rodents bred to be hairless and so particularly vulnerable to the effects of sunlight.

Four groups of rodents were exposed to UV-B radiation, but were given different diets and exercise regimes.

One group drank caffeinated water -- equivalent to two cups of coffee for humans -- another voluntarily exercised on a running wheel, while a third group both drank caffeine and ran. The fourth group, which served as a control, neither ran nor drank caffeine.

Subsequently, all of them were exposed to lamps that generated UV-B radiation that damaged the DNA in their skin cells. The team then looked for evidence of programmed cell death, also known as apoptosis, among the four groups of UV-B-treated mice.

According to their findings, the caffeine drinkers showed an increase of about 95 per cent in UV-B-induced apoptosis, the exercisers showed a 120 per cent increase, while the mice that were both drinking and exercising showed a nearly 400 per cent increase.

"The cumulative difference seen in the caffeine drinking runners can likely be attributed to some kind of synergy between the two factors," wrote Dr Conney
